A few years ago, I sent work to Rattle Magazine because they were calling for poems by librarians and I am a teacher-librarian. I thought there was no chance I’d get in. Rattle is a pretty big poetry magazine in The States. Here are some details on the kind of readership they have:
Print Run: 11,000
Total Circulation: 10,000
Paid Subscribers: 8,500
Unique Visitors: 5,000/day
Page Views: 20,000/day
To my disbelief, I received an acceptance and had my poem featured in their Issue #75: Tribute to Librarians. What a rush.
